Mario Abela (b 1983 - ) was born in Gozo, Malta.
He is an artist, graphic designer, and educator, who has a Bachelors Degree in Education - Art and History, and a Masters in Fine Arts – Digital Arts, from a University located in a small baroque island in the middle of the Mediterranean, called Malta - He still don’t know if this is a curse or a godsend
and considers that, perhaps, his work is a reflection of this. He is also a visiting lecturer at the Faculty of Media and Knowledge Sciences (Visual Identity Study Unit) - University of Malta.
