Marie Spiteri

Marie Spiteri was born on 9 October 1995. She comes from Ħal-Qormi and lives in St. Paul’s Bay.

Apart from singing, her hobbies include drama, dancing, reading, watching films and traveling.

She is graduated as a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) from the University of Malta. Moreover, she is graduated in Hairdressing. Marie is currently working as a LSA in a governmental school.

Her singing career started at the age of 10. She had various vocal teachers starting from Glen Vella, Olivia Lewis, Dominic Cini and Carlo Fenech. Currently her vocal and technical teacher is Brian Cefai.

She took part in various productions at Maria Assumpta Secondary School, where she used to attend. Marie achieved a Distinction in Grade 1 and Grade 2 in Performing Arts while she was in the same school. Also, while attending her sixth form years at the Junior College, she took part in another two productions organised by the same college.

Furthermore, Marie took part in several talent shows, cultural activities in numerous localities, festivals and a television programme. Nowadays, she sings during wedding ceremonies.

Marie sings both cover versions and original songs. In fact, she is participating in Konkors Kanzunetta Indipendenza 2017 (Talent Ġdid) with the original song Iltqajna Bħall-Ħbieb written by her sister Charmaine Pace and composed by her brother-in-law Herbert Pace.
