She has always had music in her heart and since retiring from work has decided to start writing some lyrics both in Maltese and English. Music never failed in her home, so much so that swayed to the three children who are all active in the field of music.
Infact Anita married Galea playing drums and also is a physical educator. Alexia Schembri married composer and radio presenter Chan Vella and Daryl.
