Mannie Casha is a folk music guitarist, researcher and promoter. Originally from Kalkara, he emigrated to Australia, where he has spent several decades documenting għana in Melbourne and Sydney. A presenter on SBS Radio, he hosted programmes including Ir-Rokna tal-Għana Malti.

He has also collaborated with Frans Baldacchino l-Budaj on an album. A prolific musician of folk music, he has various instrumental releases, including Buskett
