The Malta at Junior Eurovision 2014 was not held. This would have been the television show by which Malta selected its entry to the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2014 held in Malta on 15 November 2013. PBS did not hold the local contest, mainly because it was too busy organising the 2014 edition of the pan-European contest, but also as it appeared that an internal decision to pick an outstanding child singer worked well for Malta in 2013.
Federica Falzon, who wowed televiewers with her impressive performances on Italian television throughout the previous months, was selected by PBS to represent Malta at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2014. This is Malta's tenth entry to the Junior Eurovision Song Contest.
