The Event

On Saturday 12 th September 2009 was the final of the seventh edition of the Malta Junior Eurosong 2009. In the evening presented by two youths ability Francesca Zarb and Jacob Pullicino song

The Contest

The PBS announce who received 66 submissions for the song as Malta Junior Eurosong 2009. The knockout phase of the festival will be spread over two days 24 and 25 August at the Hotel Excelsior in Floriana between 2pm and 5pm. The singers will sing 'live' before a jury of six people.

This Contest is also done under the observation of the Guild of U.K.A.M. Announce the Twenty finalist songs of Malta Junior Eurosong 2009

The Jury

The results were verified by Dr. Sharon Fiorentino (Notary Public) and Mr Jonathan Desira (Accountant) in the presence of members of the PBS Advisory Team and Mr. Horace Anastasi as an U.K.A.M Observer

The 66 songs were judged by Miss Lorraine Aquilina (music teacher and drama), Mr Christian Axiak (music teacher), Ms Adrienne Azzopardi (singer composer), Miss Maria Lewis (singer), Mr. Mark Gauci ( music teacher) and Mr. Eric Montfort (music critic).

Meeting for all finalists, will be held at the Grand Hotel Excelsior, Floriana on Friday 28 August, 2009 at 3 o'clock in the afternoon.

After 24 and 25 August, 2009 were selected from the 20 Song knockout phase. It went all the work and preparation for the final evening to seven editions of the Malta Junior Eurosong 2009 will be held on Saturday 12 th Settembru 2009 direct broadcasts on PBS.
