The Public Broadcasting Services Ltd. announce  the 20 finalists song Malta Junior Eurosong 2009. The following songs will compete in the final which will be held Saturday 12 September. The songs are presented below in the order in which they were heard before the jury and not on the points back.

The Seventh Edition of Junior Eurovision Song Contest took place in [[Kiev]] [[ Ukraine]] on 21 November 2009 .
'Double Trouble' sung by Francesca Sciberras and Mikaela Painters is the winner of the Malta Junior Eurosong of this year. This song will represents Malta in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest to be held in Kiev Ukraine on 21 November 2009.
 
'My One True Passion' sung by Ylenia Vella as ranked second place while third place , while in third place was  'The Mambo Song' sung by Sarah Bonnici.
