The Malta Hit Song Contest was a new Festival born, It was administered by a committee within the Malta Council for Culture & the Arts associated with Malta's Eurovision Song Contest entries.

The Festival was organise by Why Events and a committee include Deo Grech, Ray Falzon, Ignatius Farrugia and some other members. associated with Malta's Eurovision Song Contest entries.

The 2010 appart the Maltese singer take part some foreiger singers and in that edition their where two competions.

The 2011 was the last one held, but after an apprecent , of three years this Festival will be held again during September 2014. Song Contests in Malta
