Lydon Incorvaja

Lydon Incorvaja was born on the 11 August 1996 and comes from Ġzira. He’s a Singer, an Actor and a Hairstylist.

Lydon works as a Senior Hairstylist and achieved his diploma in hairdressing through the institute of community services MCAST.

His first musical experience started at the age of 8 in his hometown church where he formed part of a children’s choir for a few years. In 2009 he was chosen to make part of the first ever Joseph Calleja Children’s choir and did so for 5 consecutive years.

Through the Joseph Calleja choir he was also chosen to be part of a smaller group to sing for the Pope Benedict XIV in Pjazza San Ġorġ, twice as a chior member in the Rockestra and in 2010 Lydon was one of the chosen few to form part of a choir that sang in the “Concerto Di Natale” that aired on Christmas eve on Rai2.

In 2009 he started taking vocal training lesson with local and international soprano Gillian Zammit. 2010 was his first Vocal exam with the university of “Trinity Guildhall London” and in 2017 his final exam in Trinity rock and pop Grade 8 receiving a Distinction.

In 2014 he was part of the L-Għanja tal-Poplu choir lead by Josephine Ebejer Grech when opening the night [1].

2016 was the year where he also started attending Vocal and performance training at the Vocal Booth Studios with tutor and former Maltese Eurovision representative Glen Vella.

2017 was the year where he got most of his television exposure as an actor on local tv drama “DIVISION7” in character with the name of “Benjamin” with his funny and lovable character the Maltese public love so much! January 20th 2018, Lydon formed part of a chior specifically created for the V18 event “Erba Pjazez” performed in front of St. Johns Cathedral under the direction of Pamela Bezzina. And with the same choir in the ‘Pegeant of the seas’ on the 7th of June.

On September 1st 2018 he will be one of the finalists in L-Għanja tal-Poplu 2018 – (Festival tal-Kanzunetta Maltija) with the song “Wegħdni” written by Rita Pace and composed by Glen Vella
