Clean-up Needed

The text currently on this page needs further work. It was most likely imported or reproduced from a website associated with the subject of the page - possibly through a process involving far-from-perfect machine translation, often with awkward results. It is awaiting the attention of an experienced M3P editor, which could be you. It may be slightly out of date, or may need other elements taken care of appropriately, including proofreading or copy-editing for grammar and style.

Luke Cieca.jpg

Luke Cieca is a singer from Malta.

Luke was born into a theatrical family and music has always been a major part of his life from a very young age. His dad Edward Mercieca introduced him to his 70’s rock music collection which included a mixture from Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple and Eric Clapton to name a few.

His love for music led him to play drums, be in a band and eventually heading to Edinburgh to get a degree in performance all whilst testing the waters with different genres by playing in bars around the city.

Soon after he learnt his first chords on a guitar he started writing songs. After working on his writing for years and never showing them to anyone, he decided to take a leap of faith and do something with his music. In November 2020, he released his debut single ‘A Place We Were Good’ which sets the tone for what kind of sound and material one can expect from Luke.
