Leli Xuereb tan-Namru
was an improvised verse folk singer from Qala.
He emigrated to Canada, where he lived with his brother Karmnu Xuereb In-Namru. He returned to Gozo, and ventured back to North America to bring his ailing brother back to Malta. He passed away in Gozo in 2013.
