Since it was at a tender age she showed the drive for singing at an early age. Young Trainee at [[Doreen Galea]] and later at [[Glen Vella]] to do so until it had lasted 18 years. Over the years that lasted sing took some training in playing the piano and wrote the lyrics of several songs her own, both Maltese and English like ''Colours of Love'', ''My Life''.
Ellul started singing at an early age and was first coached by [[Doreen Galea]] and later on by [[Glen Vella]] till the  age of 18. She has also written her own lyrics (both in Maltese and in English ) some of which are: ''Colours of Love'', ''My Life'', ''Prayer for Peace'', ''Żmien in-Nanniet'', and ''Bibien tal-Ħadid''. Amongst the festivals she took part in are [[Fl-Għaqda l-Melodija]], [[Malta Junior Eurovision 2003]], [[Malta Junior Eurovision 2004]] and [[Showtime]] ma’ ''Aceline''.

The last festival she took part in was [[L-Għanja tal-Maltin]] where she won first place with the song ''Żerniq'', to which she wrote the lyrics and composed by [[Lara Schembri]] and [[Dana McKeon]]. She also received an award for the best interpretation.


Leanne also participated in [[Challenge 2007]], which followed the training and do the  three main areas of performing arts singing, dancing and performing arts. The last festival that took part was [[L-Għanja tal-Maltin]] where she won first place with the song ' Żerniq' to composed by [[Lara Schembri]] and [[Dana McKeon]] and she wrote her own words. This festival also took top prize for interpretation.
Ellul ceased singing actively, but oocasionaly contributed as a soloist in the [[Assumpta Est Choir]], amongst others, performed as a backing vocalist, sang on special occasions such as a night dedicated for Maltese music, “ikKORdati,” and worked with/for children in this music field.
 
Since that time, Leanne ceased active music scene as before, but still contributed as soloist [[Assumpta Est]] course such as backing vocalist, took care to work in this field as  children / to children also some special occasions like 'kKORdati'.

Leanne Ellul

Leanne Ellul born October 13, 1989 is a Maltese singer and lives in Luqa.

Ellul started singing at an early age and was first coached by Doreen Galea and later on by Glen Vella till the age of 18.
