The Eleventh Edition of the Festival was organized by the [[Youth Travel Circle]] (YTC), under the guidance of Fr [[Maurice Mifsud]], by the name of [[Festival ta' Kant Folk]]. Sixteen songs took part in the final night on 14 May 1983. After ten years held at [[St Albert College]], [[Valletta]], the festival moved to the [[Grand Ballroom of the Hotel Phoenicia]] at [[Floriana]].

The Stage was designed by [[Teddy Cilia]] and [[Carmen Cilia]]. [[Andre' Vella]] was in charge of sound and audio while [[Charlie Sammut]] and [[Silvio Ellul]] were responsible for lighting.

For this edition in the Final night, taken part sixteen songs. After ten years  held at [[St Albert College]], [[Valletta]], this year the festival moved to the [[Grand Ballroom of the Hotel Phoenicia]] at [[Floriana]] and was held on 14 May, 1983.

Sixteen songs took part in the final night on 14 May 1983. After ten years held at St Albert College, Valletta, the festival moved to the Grand Ballroom of the Hotel Phoenicia at Floriana.

The Stage was designed by Teddy Cilia and Carmen Cilia. Andre' Vella was in charge of sound and audio while Charlie Sammut and Silvio Ellul were responsible for lighting.
