Kris Spiteri born in Cospicua on 16 July, 1977. He is a pianist, musical director and composer from the Maltese Islands. He acquired a B.A. Hons in Music Studies and also obtained the PGCE degree in Music Education from the University of Malta. He studied Jazz Piano with Dave Frank and Dan Hearle. He is married and lived at Pembroke.

Kris joined Boris Cezek and Malcolm Galea to give birth to an original musical by the name of Porn the Musical. With the help of producer Winston Azzopardi, the musical also took flight with a full Maltese cast to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival for a month’s run, receiving an average of 4 to 5 star reviews. The musical was also an MTM nominee for Best New Musical. Porn the musical was then produced in Theatre 503 Battersea London with a West End Cast, winning the award for Best New Musical at the Off West End Theatre Awards and was also listed as critic’s choice in Time Out London. Kris’s contribution to this musical was as a composer/ lyricist along side with Cezek, and as the Musical Director for all the productions.

He was also the Musical Director for the FM Productions adaptations of Hairspray, Fiddler on the Roof, My Fair Lady, Mamma Mia and numerous pantomimes' both by FM productions and Masquerade in Malta. In 2012 and 2015 Spiteri directed and wrote the band arrangements for the National concerts of Animae Gospel Choir.

Kris forms part of the jazz trio Noir with whom he recorded the album Till you switch off the lights and played the material from the album at the Malta Jazz Festival and at the My Unique Jazz festival in Berlin.

In 2015 Kris whos’s his nickname was Krispi wrote words and music for an album recorded with Daniel Cauchi called Lukanda Propaganda. The duo’s name became Kafena and the album was recorded in collaboration with the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra. He features in Nadine Axisa's album Velvet, Red Electrick's album Inside you and in the Joseph Calleja concerts, and played some jazz concerts in Berlin with Andrea Marcelli and Roberto Badoglio.
