Justine Delmar

Justine Delmar born on the 17 February, 1998. A Maltese singer who currently is living in Mosta. She attended St. Joseph School in Sliema. Justine started singing at the age of 7 and her love and passion towards singing began when she was inspired by her two older sisters who are singers themselves.

For the last 11 years she has attended Singer Stage Academy directed by ‘Kaya’ Priscilla Giordano Psaila. Apart from singing as a solo she also sings as a duo with a great friend of hers Maria Christina Desira, it’s because of music that they have met and became great friends.

Together they have made huge success. Starting with the most important success in their career together is the Malta Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2010. They sang the song Love to Share and placed runners up with the same points as the winning song. Also in the same year they took part in two other local competitions. They took part in the Bronk’s Festival, Ilwien Muzikali 2010 with the song Arana and together they placed first place. Also, in that same year they took part in the Euro Stars Festival with the song Staġuni and they won the Grand Prix also known as the Overall.

A year later, in 2011 they went to Romania and they took part in an International Festival, named the Carpathian Festival and they won first place. In 2012 they took part in the well known local festival, Konkors Kanzunetta Indipendenza - Talent Żgħażugħ -2012, in the section and they placed in second place with the song Ħbieb ta’ Veru. Justine, has also participated in various festivals including does international which include Canzoni Per Ragazzi Verdinote in Italy and Carpation Festival in Romania. During the past two years she had a wonderful experience taking part as a backing vocal in the band life concert Stilel Maltin 1 & 2 under the leader ship of Mro. Joe Brown where she sang together with famous singers including Mary Spiteri, Mike Spiteri, Renato, Enzo Gusman, Glen Vella, Corazon Mizzi and Chiara.

Also last Christmas during the months of December and January she had the opportunity to take part in the panto Scooby Doo għal Zonqor Point held by Bronk Productions. Apart from her passion towards singing she also loves reading. As her career she attended at MCAST where she studied Diploma in Child care.

On 18 September, 2018 Justine with her friend Maria Christina Desira taken part as a duo in Konkors Kanzunetta Indipendenza 2018 with the song Nemmnu Mill-Ġdid lyrics by Emil Calleja Bayliss and music by 'Kaya' Priscilla Giordano Psaila.

On 19 September, 2019 Justine for the fist time alone, was one of the finalist of the 28 Edition of Konkors Kanzunetta Indipendenza 2019 held at Pieta near Dar Ċentrali with the song 'Maskri' lyrics by Emil Calleja Bayliss and music by Mark Spiteri Lucas.

On September, 2020 Justine made it again to the finalist of the the 29 Edition of Konkors Kanzunetta Indipendenza 2020 held at Pieta near Dar Ċentrali with the song 'Baħħara Tal-Bnazzi' lyrics by Emil Calleja Bayliss and music by Mark Spiteri Lucas.

On Thursday 26 August, 2021, made it to the final of Konkors Kanzunetta Indipendenza 2021 Justine Delmar performed the song Ta’ L-Istess Pezza lyrics by Emil Calleja Bayliss and music by ‘Kaya’ Priscilla Giordano Psaila. On the final night held on 18 September, 2021, at she performed the song Ta’ L-Istess Pezza lyrics by Emil Calleja Bayliss and music by ‘Kaya’ Priscilla Giordano Psaila.
