Julie Ann Zahra was born in Malta in 1982. She is a classically trained singer who has been actively involved in music from a very young age. Julie took part in many local and international festivals, TV drama, Music videos and theatre. She has also represented her country in the [[Eurovision Song Contest]] in Istanbul, Turkey, in May 2004. As part of the duo [["Julie & Ludwig",]] they managed to qualify to the final and came 12th[1] out of 36 countries competing. Their song, [[On Again... Off Again]] was just in the top 12.

Julie moved to the UK to expand her singing career and to continue studying Classical voice. She has recently completed her Royal School of Music Grade 8 and is working towards her Diploma.

In the UK Julie taught at the Performance Academy of Newcastle College and is currently teaching Music and Singing at All Saints College in Newcastle upon Tyne and has been there for over a year.

Working with Musical Identity UK Julie has recently launched a single entitled "No one in Heaven" which highlights the change in direction of the singer and her influences. The single can be downloaded from the website named below.
