Joseph Xerri, born on 1 Febuary, 1989 in Xagħra, Gozo, is the trumpeter of the band The Travellers. He graduated in 2013 and now works as a Senior Graphic Designer. His father introduced him to music 16 years ago with a local band club.

After 5 years Joseph wanted to take his skills to the next level and he decided to start studying privately. He had the opportunity to be tutored by George Camilleri and also by Kevin Abela (principal trumpeter of the M.P.O).

In the past 10 years he had the opportunity to play as a guest musician in different Maltese bands. In 2013, Joseph and some friends decided to form up ‘The Travellers'
