Joseph is married to actress, presenter and producer Antonella Galea Loffreda and got a talent girl named Martina Galea Loffreda who she’s a singer and dancer.
Joseph took his theatrical training at the school of drama Mikelanġ Borg between 1996 and 1999, where he attended courses of performing arts and Stage Management. Attended another course in the same center was in writing dramatic works between 2000 and 2002.
He also trained in voice with Mezzo-Soprano Marie Therese Vassallo. In 1997 he attended a European theatrical encounter now f'Besancon France.

Galea specializes in monologue and performed various tasks in launching a book of some of the best authors, including Trevor Zahra Claire Azzopardi and Guze Stagno. As for the direction he was responsible for several major productions in his neighborhood Cospicua. Among these Newspapers (Road Theatre 2001), Ulied L-Immakulata (Musical 2005) and Arazzi Leqqiena (Show 2012). Joseph is involved in the project ĦREJJEF, of stories accompanied by music, composition of Ruben Zahra, held on several occasions between 2006 and 2013, including f'Zigu Zajg festival. This work is also recorded on a CD that is not a book that was published by these stories. Galea also served as a stage manager in several plays. On television had major parts in several dramatic works including Il-Pesta 1813 (ONE 2000), Fenomini (NET 2001), F’Baħar Wieħed (NET 2002), Delitti Maltin (TVM 2003), Mirjana Coljero (ONE 2008) u Pupi (NET 2006) which interpreted by character also won the best actor prize at the Malta Television Awards 2007. He has also been nominated several times with works other television. Also took part in the local cinema film Xrar. Galea is also producer and presenter of programs broadcast on television. Some progras that were produced on NET TV, Kaxxa Magħluqa (game program 2002), on ONE, Kaktus (Satire 2003/2004), Għal Qalbi (game program 2007/2008), Belgħa Te (satire 2008), X’Ħadd Magħna (game program from 2009 to 2011) and TVM Maltin Bħalna (Documentary 2005), Il-Ħarsa ta’ Rużann (dokudrama 2013) u Pellikola (documentary 2013). Also presented documentary Kappelli (TVM 2012). Galea has switched to writing in Maltese, so who actually took part in various literary nights and produced and presented the program for Radio Ktieb fl-Idejn, on Campus FM in 2012
