John Grima (b. 1967) is a painter, sculptor and designer.

He has held fifteen personal exhibitions in major cities including Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne, New York, Paris, London, Beijing and Mannheim and has also held a number of exhibitions in Malta and Gozo. He also participated and exhibited collectively in competitions and exhibitions both in his country and abroad where he has won several prestigious awards. His works have been selected and exhibited in numerous prestigious venues including the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists, the United Society of Artists, the National Acrylic Painters' Association, and the Mall Galleries in London, Hotel de Ville in Paris, the World Trade Centre in Stockholm, the National Arts Club and the United Nations Headquarters in New York, the UNESCO Centre in Beirut, and the Beijing Yan Huang Art Museum.

He has been selected several times to represent Malta in international art exhibitions and symposia namely the Winsor and Newton Millenium Exhibition in London, Brussels, Stockholm and New York, Malta Crossroads of Civilization at the Palais des Nations, United Nations, Geneva and the ISIDEM Project in Sicily.

His works are to be found in a number of local churches. He has also created sets for opera, stage productions and the leading song festivals in Malta.

Works by John Grima have been published in a number of renowned art reviews including the international art book 1001 Reasons to Love the Earth organized by the 2000 Foundation of the Netherlands . A book entitled ‘The Art of John Grima Paintings 1992-2002' was published in 2004.

His sculptures for public places include the Nativity for Ta' Pinu Sanctuary and a number of bronze sculptures including a family group, the portals at St George's Basilica, a sculpture commemorating the 25th anniversary of the Federation of European Carnival Cities, a mother and daughter for a main road in Gozo, and recently a concrete sculpture for San Lawrenz.
