Jessica Jane Cassar born on 21 March, 1991. She’s an actress from Mosta.

From a very young age she has been involved in the arts. She started singing in the local church choir where she also learned the guitar. From then on she studied classical music such as the viola and piano and obtained distinctions in all her theory examinations. After, she joined the Amadeus Chamber Choir where she also studied individual voice techniques with Mro. Brian Cefai and Michelle Cachia Castelletti. During that time she took part in various concerts. Later on, she joined the St. Monica’s Choir under the direction of Sr. Benjamina Portelli. Having a passion for electronic and dance music she is currently studying DJing.

At age eighteen, she had the opportunity to go to Los Angeles to audition in front of casting agents and had a week of training at Stella Adler Academy. On her return to Malta, she took workshops for television acting with Take2, Rewind, DarC Productions and studied screen acting at the Malta Drama Centre under veteran Lino Farrugia. She was part of TV series like ‘Prima Facie’, ‘Iżd’ImmaMentri..Pero’, ‘Il-Patt’, ‘Ħbieb u Għedewwa’, ‘Rajt Ma Rajtx’, ‘Deheb il-Karta’ and ‘Frekwenzi Ħiemda’. She is currently studying Speech and Drama at Masquerade and is also a student at Theatre Lab Malta. In 2017, she had the opportunity to travel to London with the cast and crew of the film 7 days in Entebbe. It was a great experience filming at Ealing Studios and working with director José Padilha who is also the director of renowned tv series Narcos. She has featured in the British TV series ‘Birds of a Feather Christmas Special’.

Apart from acting, Jessica is also a model. She was a contestant in Miss Malta 2014 and took part in various fashion shows. In 2018, she had the opportunity to model for a Chinese reality show which was filmed in Malta at Palazzo Parisio. She has featured in different commercials such as Burger King-Pama, Cisk, [[MIA and Aperol Spritz.

Presently Jessica can be seen on the television series ‘Fattigi’ and ‘Klassi Għalina’ Season 5. She is also involved in a web series which will be launched on You Tube.
