Jason Seguna n-Nekus
Jason Seguna n-Nekus
was born on 5th November 1972. He hails from Żebbuġ, Malta and is know for singing the improvised verse model.

His favourite folksingers are Ninu Galea l-Kalora and Żaren Mifsud ta' Vestru. A regular performer at Għanafest, Seguna was also secretary of the folksinger's society Kadenzi, founded by Ġorġ Mifsud Chircop. In 2003, he sung these verses at the New Year's Bar in Żebbuġ.

                         U lil Mabbli għidtlu dalgħodu
                           Lilu ħadt ma jtih raġun
                           Żaru qed jaqbeż għal Mabbli
                           Għandu jkun iġibulu sħun.

Seguna has folk-sung in Gibellina and Rome in Italy, together with Ċikku Degiorgio tal-Fjuri during a Mediterranean folk music festival.
