Janelle Rapa was born on 6 February, 2004 and lives in Sannat, Gozo. She is a Singer.

From a very young age Rapa showed interest in performing arts. She first started singing and practicing Classical Ballet and furthered her studies in piano and cello playing. Later, she started acting wherein she perfomed in various musicals some of which are Fiddler on the Roof (2017), Scrooge (2018), The Sound of Music (2019), Hope Alight (2019), Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

She formed part of several choirs including the Anime Gospel Children’s Choir, Aurora Children’s Choir for the Opera Carmen and Chorus Urbanus.

She was also part of two Maltese Operas Qasba Zejt and F’ Baħar ta’ Kwiekeb.

She is one of the 20 finalists in Konkors Kanzunetta Indipendenza 2021 with the song Għall-ewwel Darba written and composed by Rita Pace and Glen Vella respectively.
