Marvic Lewis

Indigo is a Maltese pop rock singer whose real name is Marvic Lewis, born 5 July 1980.

Marvic she started her singing career when she was 8. At the age of 12 she became a session singer in recording studios and started listening to rock music. At the age of 14 she started song-writing, and at the age of 18 she met her rock band So Chronic, with who she spent 4 years and produced 3 radio singles. Soon after she continued her career in the rock scene as a solo artist, under the name of Indigo, writing and producing new songs, which made an album, that got released on 23 July 2006. The album named Struck, had 2 hit singles before release. Another five singles where also released from it. The band featured Steve Muscat "Cannibal" (drums), David Cassar Torreggiani (guitar), and Bobby Baldacchino (bass). Guitarist David Depasquale replaced Cassar Torregiani after Struck was released.

In 2007 Indigo scripted and plotted her own music video by the name of Scarecrow and released in the beginning of 2008 on local TV stations.

The second CD album is called These Are The Roots and it was released on 13 July 2010. Still Here was released as a promotional single along with the album and Rip It Down followed a few months later along with a music video produced by No Sweat Productions.
