Herbert Pace

Herbert Pace was born on 1 February 1977. He comes from Ħaż-Żabbar and lives in St. Paul’s Bay.

He works as an Administrator at MaltaPost and is also a composer.

He started studying music and playing the clarinet at the age of 10. Herbert played with several Maltese band clubs both in Malta and abroad. He was the Band Director of St. Mary’s Band Club Għaxaq. Moreover, he was the Assistant Director of Stella Maris Band Club, Sliema and St. Anne Band Club, Marsascala. He directed several Band Programmes in various occasions.

Herbert composed numerous band marches and songs for well-known singers. He participated in Festival Nazzjonali taż-żagħżagħ 2000 where he classified fourth with the song In Love sung by Glen Vella. Herbert also, took part with the song Ngħixu Ħajja Aħjar sung by Annabelle Vella and Cliff Zammit Stevens in Konkors Kanzunetta Indipendenza 2007 and is taking part again in Konkors Kanzunetta Indipendenza 2017 (Talent Ġdid) with Iltqajna Bħall-Ħbieb sung by his sister-in-law Marie Spiteri and written by his wife Charmaine Pace.
