Halycon is a hardcore metal band from Malta, made up of Vocalist/guitarist Johnathan Cilia, Guitarist Daniel Abela, Drummer Kurt Borg, and Bassist Matthew Camilleri Fava.

Their debut track Protector was released in September 2010 and was recorded at SpineSplitter Studios. It was featured on the 242nd Mużika Mod Ieħor podcast on Saturday 22 January 2011.

They also released a previous track, 'To The End' in 2006(Johnathan Cilia on vocals and sole guitarist, Daniel Abela as bassist and Robert Fenech on drums), but since then had a line-up shift and a change of genres, from the punkier sounds of 'To The End' and other unreleased tracks to the heavier sound they have today.
