Granny was one of the first grunge bands to emerge onto the Maltese music scene. Featuring Stefan Bartolo on vocals and guitars, Clayton Micallef on drums, Keith Pillow on bass and Edward Saguna on keyboards, the band was formed around 1994.

Although the band never recorded any material, it performed live in various venues around the island as well as during a live production on Smash TV.

Granny's repertoire was mostly based on original material that went down especially well in a live setting. Lost Friend, Granny, Zymothic Disease and Modern World are just some of the band's own work.

Granny's music was mainly influenced by the likes of Pearl Jam and Radiohead with a hint of Rage Against The Machine.
