Glen Vella (born 14 May 1983) is a singer and voice coach from Malta.

Glen started his singing career at the age of 13. He studied both practical and theory in voice and piano. He is certificated in voice coaching from the Victoria Music and Arts Collage in London.

He just returned from Belarus from the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, where he was coaching the Maltese Singers in the international event. After last year’s nomination, Glen recently was nominated once again for the Best Male Artist 2010 in the Malta Music Awards. In February he placed 2nd during the Malta Song for Europe 2010 with the song ‘Just a little more love’.

Glen established his name thanks to his participation as a residential singer on various television shows on the island including `Kalamita`, `Showtime`, `Sa 6`and currently on the biggest afternoon show on the Maltese islands ‘Sibtijiet Flimkien’ on ONE TV. He also lends his voice to several Maltese radios and televisions signature tunes and jingles. Glen had the opportunity to play main roles in various musicals held on the Maltese islands, including Jesus Christ Super Star, Godspell, Abba Mania and more. Due to his popularity, one can frequently watch the singer in local shows and concerts held by different companies. He is also one of the founders of the Maltese leading Choir `Animae Gospel Choir` which members are well-known singers and musicians on the Maltese Islands.

During his career Glen collaborated with various renowned Maltese composers and authors and had the opportunity to release singles and promote them internationally; including Belgium and The Netherlands. When it comes to song and singer festivals, one can easily find Glen’s name on the list as he finds this genre as his forte. He participated in both local and international festivals and managed to achieve good results including the Fidof Award for three times. One of his favorite local festivals is The Malta Song for Europe where his first participation takes us back to 2005, with the song `Appreciate` and his last attempt was last year with the group Q, where they achieved the second place. Recently Glen made it to the Finals of Golden Stag Festival which is considered as the 2nd best European music festival after the Eurovision. It was held at City Hall Square, Braşov Rumania. Glen managed to attain the Jury Award with the song `All I Am`, a song composed by Paul Giordimaina and penned by Fleur Balzan, the same team behind Glen’s entry for Malta Eurosong 2010 Just a Little More Love.

Glen Vella won the Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2011 singing One Life by Paul Giordimaina and Fleur Balzan, and went on to represent Malta at the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest.

On 21 November, 2014 Glen Vella taken part in the semi-final of the Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2015, with the song Breakaway, and he made it to the Final held at the Marsa Shipbuilding on Saturday 22 November, 2014 with the last sixteen song. He placed at the third place with 39 points. Beside that Glen win the televoting prize held on www.tvm.com.mt award with 1,804 vot.
