Fredu Cachia l-Fra was an improvised verse folk singer. He was born in 1939 and hails from Mosta. Cachia emigrated to Australia, and that is where most of his folk singing and guitar playing was based. Cachia has folk sung in improvised verse with Michael Magrin Iż-Żabbari in Melbourne in 1992.
