Franco Tartaglia born on 13 June, 1983 at the Capital City of Malta, Valletta today he lives at Birkirkara. He is a singer composer guitarist.

Franco started studying classical guitar at the age of six. From then onwards, hedelved himself into rock, blues and jazz/bossanova always pursuing to become a complete musician.

Some influences amongst many others are Philip Glass, Brian Eno, Steve Hackett, Aldi Meola, Pat Metheny and Bireli Lagrene. In 2005, he has also immersed himself in music recording and production notwithstanding the fact that his experience with different bands and artists are of a wide variety for instance Niki Gravino and the Vile Bodies.

Tartaglia, is currently working on different projects being film music both for local and international short movies/documentaries and Tact (Tartaglia’s act) whilst collaborating with different artists as a session guitarist and music consultancy.

Recent music collaborations in 2013 was with Maltese Film Director Mark Doneo in his movie 'Silhouette' and Czech Film Director Ester Brym in the short documentary'Autumn of Route 66' achieving the 'Best Female Director' Award and placing second for the 'Best Picture' Award in the AOF International Awards in Los Angeles. 'Autumn of Route 66' was then screened at the Valley Film Festival in Hollywood
