Francesca Borg

Francesca Borg born on 31 March 1992. She is a Gozitan pop singer from Xagħra, Gozo.

Francesca started singing at the age of seven. During the early years she took part in several festivals in Gozo where she impressed local audiences. Later on she moved to bigger festivals in Malta such as Ilħna Maltin presented during Showtime on TVM and Junior Live on One TV, where she was classified in first place by the jury. Francesca has subsequently appeared on several local TV programmes.

In 2008 and 2009 she was in the finals of Konkors Kanzunetta Indipendenza. She appeared in the quarter-finals of Malta Song for Europe in 2009.

In October 2009 she took part in a reality show on Favourite Channel called Don’t Stop Me Now. She one the show, which also included a contest for the best singer, over twelve programmes.

In February 2010 Francesca sang with the Sliema Big Band in a concert conducted by Sigmund Mifsud.
