Firelight

Firelight is a Maltese pop-folk band best known for representing Malta at the Eurovision Song Contest 2014.

Firelight was formed in June 2013. Band members are Michelle Mifsud (vocals, piano, percussion), Richard Edward Micallef (vocals, acoustic guitar, Appalachian mountain dulcimer, percussion), Tony Polidano ( vocals , upright bass, electric bass, acoustic bass ,percussion), Matthew Ellul ( acoustic guitar, electric guitar) and Leslie Decesare (drums, percussion, harmonica).

There first album is set to be released in 2014. All songs of the album are a collective effort of the band.

Firelight made their public debut through the Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2014 with the song Coming Home, and made enough of an impact on the judges and public to win the contest.
