The Mascalucia Festival is now in its eleventh edition was founded by the great value of music two musical friends Maurizio Casella and Richard Grasso.

In 2013 the fetsival takes place under the direction of the President Giovanni Ali wings with blue sound2 the festival begins to arrive abroad arrives in Malta.

==Aim of the festival==:-
Provide participants with a real chance to start in the world of music and entertainment, trying to minimize its expenses and disbursements by the participating artist.

Give greater international visibility of the emerging artists through concerts and tour aimed at promoting young and emerging music.

Offer professional artistic training, not only through master classes, but ensuring, for each artist and each stage of selection, critical listening and constructive dialogue,
provide an opportunity to young emerging to highlight their skills in all phases of selection, with important performances to make a quality choice.
This song contest is held every summer in Sicily at Trinity Park Manenti. It is recognized by the municipality of Mascalucia, on the calendar of the most important events of the City the competition is divided into three categories, baby junior and senior. 
But for two years it has been inserted as the category of the new songs.
==The Festival==
Maltese Singers took part in this festival from it's First Edition way in 2014.
