Felix Agius was born on March 21, 1948. He studied at Żabbar Primary School, then continued his secondary and tertiary education at Ħamrun Lyceum.

He later obtained a degree in Journalism from the International Institute of Journalism in Berlin.

Agius began his career in journalism about 50 years ago, when he joined the Labour Party newspaper Iż-Żmien (The Time) which was produced and printed in the Freedom Press.

He later joined the Union Press as a sub-editor for the English newspaper Malta News. He spent some time in the Sports Department before being appointed editor of the L-Orizzont magazine in 1981.

He held this position for more than 11 years, as in 1993 he joined the newspaper KullĦadd, (also of the Labor Party) as Executive Editor, which he held until he retired from work. years ago.
