Edward Ellul, born om 10 August, 1977, in Ħad-Attard, Malta.

He is currently the lead singer and bass player for the band The Residents, and also bass player for the Jazz band Noir Jazz Project.

Edward has been in the scene for over 25 years, playing both locally and internationally. His musical and singing influences comes from a wide spectrum of genres, which varies from rock to pop and funk.

Through the years he has collaborated with loads of local and foreign artists, and performed both live and studio recordings. He joined CODA at the very last minute and he was really thrilled by the idea to collaborate with great friends but also such veteran artists.

CODA formed by three veteran singers and at the same time musicians, Andrew Zammit, Mark Tonna and Paul Giordimaina as well as the musician Edward Ellul and the singer presenter Janvil.

They managed to be among the 20 finalist songs of Mużika Mużika 2023 with the song 'Flimkien' with lyrics by Fleur Balzan and music by Paul Giordimaina
