Discovery International Pop Music Festival is a song contest held every year in Varna Bulgaria. It has been held since 1992 in the western Bulgarian tourist city on the Black Sea. From 1992 till 1997 the Festival was only open for Bulgarian singers. Then from 1998 onwards, the festival was open for singers from foreign counties and was known as 'International Contest For Best Singer'. For many years it had been the only international pop contest held in Bulgaria.

As many as 42 countries have taken part throughout the years, including Malta. At times, local participants were chosen from the finals of Festival Internazzjonali tal-Kanzunetta Maltija. Maltese songs won four editions of the international festival.
