Clean-up Needed

The text currently on this page needs further work. It was most likely imported or reproduced from a website associated with the subject of the page - possibly through a process involving far-from-perfect machine translation, often with awkward results. It is awaiting the attention of an experienced M3P editor, which could be you. It may be slightly out of date, or may need other elements taken care of appropriately, including proofreading or copy-editing for grammar and style.

Deborah Dalli

Deborah Dalli was born on 14 March 1990. She hails from Ħaż-Żabbar but lives in Birżebbuġia.

She began her musical journey at 6 years old, study with Doreen Galea and participating in many song festivals, performing mainly in Maltese and Italian.

Deborah started studying piano at the School of Music, Valletta, at age of 7 and was also a member of the Malta Children's choir and the Kikkiriki choir lead by Olivia Lewis.

Then moved under the guide of Helen Micallef, then moved with Olivia Lewis.

The last festival she took part in was way back in 2005 where she performed the song ‘Ħaddiema Flimkien’ in the Fl-Għaqda il-Melodija 2005 festival. After a short period with Chiara she stopped.

After a long hiatus, Deborah recently decided to return to the world of performing.

Since August 2015, she has been studying vocal technique, being coached by Claire McCartin.

And in March 2016, she attended the musical theatre workshop "A week in the life" organised by DLS Productions, set in the Margaret Howard Theatre College, London . There she got an idea of what it's like to spend a week in the shoes of a real performer-in-training in London. The jam-packed timetable consisted of different dance styles, acting improvisation, solo singing and also the integration of acting and singing.
