David Lang started his musical studies in Hungary at the Specialised Secondary School of Musical Art in Pécs. Then he furthered his studies in Austria at the "Mozarteum" Academy of Music in Salzburg with Prof. Paul Roczek (Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra member) where he obtained his Masters degree, specialising violin performance. David played regularly in various chamber music formations in Austria and Hungary.

Between 1996- 2002 he was the leader of the Chamber Orchestra "CIS" and the Salzburger Mozart Chamber Orchestra (Salzburg, Austria). 2002- 2008 he was a concertmaster and soloist of the Liszt Ferenc Symphony Orchestra in Sopron (Hungary). 2008-2011 he was a member of the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra. Currently David teaches violin at the Schools of Music in Malta and Gozo.
