Danica Sammut was born on 1 January 1989. and lived at Siggiewi.

She started her career as a singer'pop, at the age of 15 years where through voice lessons followed with Maltese singer Glen Vella and later with English voice teacher Arleen Jose Barlow where they have helped to improve and strengthen the voice and confidence in her talent

Always had at heart the singing and finally her desire to sing and compete at popular festivals Maltese became reality. In her career as sung, Danica sang as a soloist, both within bands and both duets with singers Christian Azzopardi and Franz Bezzina.

She was invited to sing several evenings into villages, on several television shows as well as before the former Prime Minister Dr.Lawrence Gonzi at a night show in upper Barrakka at Valletta.

Over the years, Danica won many trophies including disc Kliem, written by Rita Pace and composed by Priscilla Psaila and sung along with Christian Azzopardi festival in the Fl-Għaqda tal-Melodija, which were classified in third place .

In 2012 Danica was also close to being a finalist in Konkors Kanzunetta Indipendenza 2012. In 2008 attempted to participate in the Malta Eurovision Song Contest. Those often do not even have helped her heart to remain keep going to improve her career and make dreams reality.

In 2013, Danica continued her studies at the University of Malta and had to take a career break, but intends to continue singing career by singing because singing feels is therapy and a substantial part in her life.
