'''Damaged & Co'''. It will not be far from the truth to state that a band is the result of the synergy created by individuals, with different tastes and backgrounds, merging to form a single unit.  Damaged & Co. is no exception.  


The six members forming the band come from different social backgrounds and are influenced by different styles of music.  The single common ingredient is the love for metal and heavy handed music.  Damaged & Co. come across as a strange kind of breed.....hard to pigeonhole, thus their style of metal can vary according to the song that one is listening to....  Most probably progressive metal will be the term best fitting.
Hailing from the small island of Malta, Alternative Metal band '''DAMAGED & CO'''. started off as a 2-man project in 2017 under a different name. After picking up momentum the project expanded to a full band, with a complete line-up, in 2018.  


Whoever is familiar with the metal/rock scene in Malta knows how difficult it is to keep an act together.  Bands keep coming together and fizzling out due to various reasons. Damaged & Co. started out when Theo Torrisi and Ehren Fenech,  [[Decline the Fall]] joined forces and formed [[Kill o’Clock]].
After releasing their first single “Here to Stay”, followed by their live debut, the band played a few local shows in 2018. '''DAMAGED & CO.''' had their first taste of performing outside their country in 2019 when they were invited to take part in [[Sbam Fest]] III Edizione at Torino, Italy.  
The project, that started off as a duo, gained momentum and soon enough they decided to expand the circle and form a band.  In time they were joined by Daniel Sammut on guitars, Daniel Aquilina on drums, Keith Muscat on keyboards and Clyde Farrugia on bass.  Band members had previous experience in other local bands such as [[Myopic Destiny and Improbus Atrum]], to name a few. Ehren had to leave the band to focus on his other project and was replaced by Peter Paul Valletta on vocals.  


Line up changes bring along a shift in the musical direction and when the current line up cemented together the members thought also to change the band name to Damaged & Co.
2 new Singles, recorded in 2019 (“Kill o’Clock” & “Broken Fields”), were released in 2019 & 2020 respectively. In January 2020 the band signed with [[Hades Management]].

After the pandemic, '''DAMAGED & CO.''' hit the stage again in October 2021, for a sold-out show at the annual “Halloween Massacre Event” at “The Garage”, following with appearances in 2022 at the “[[City Theatre]]” in Valletta, another show overseas, this time at the “Legend Club” in Milan as part of "[[Rock in Park]] 2022" and closing off the summer at the prestigious “[[Farsons Great Beer Festival]]” in August.
 
After releasing a self-titled EP (2022), the band finalized recording their debut album, “Life’s Grand Delusion” at [[SpineSplitter Studio]] and worked with renowned producer Matt Hyde (Slipknot, Trivium, As I Lay Dying, The Raven Age) on mixing and mastering. The album was released on Feb 11th, 2023.
 
On March 31st Damaged & Co. opened for Finnish Metal Heavyweights LORDI at the [[Aria Complex]] in San Gwann followed by a show at the [[Dark Malta Festival]] in April 2023 (headlined by DEATHSTARS).

DAMAGED & CO. made their live debut in an event organized by Rejects on Friday, 13th April 2018 at “[[The Garage]]”, Zebbug.
In July 2018 DAMAGED & CO. played at the 11th edition of the [[Xtreme Metal Assault]], a local festival focusing on local bands. 
In October 2018, DAMAGED & CO. emerged as winners of a battle of the bands organized by Rebels MC.
On 18 May 2019 the band made its international debut by performing at “[[SbamFest]] III Edizione” at Torino, Italy. 
After the pandemic, DAMAGED & CO. hit the stage again in October 2021, for the annual [[Halloween Massacre]] Event at “The Garage”. 
2022 started off with a show at the “City Theatre” in Valletta for the [[Rock City & Metal City]] Festivals. 
Another show overseas, this time in Milan was played in May 2022, as part of “[[Rock in Park]]” a month-long program of concerts held at the “[[Legend Club]]”.
Closing off the summer DAMAGED & CO. played at the prestigious “[[Farsons Great Beer Festival]]” in August.

In 2023, DAMAGED & CO., released their debut album in front of a sizeable crowd at “[[The Garage]]”.  
First appearance for Damaged & Co. is planned for an event organised by [[Rejects]] ‘Malice in Wonderland’ on Friday, 13 April 2018 at [[The Garage]], in [[Ħaż-Żebbuġ]].  The band will be sharing the stage with other local and foreign bands.


==First single==
In March 2023, the band opened for Finnish Metal Heavyweights LORDI at the [[Aria Complex]] in San Gwann followed by a show at the [[Dark Malta Festival]] in April 2023 (headlined by DEATHSTARS).  
The band's first single 'Here to Stay' will be launched, together with a lyric video, on Saturday, 3 March 2018.

Damaged & Co

Known for their stage antics, use of props and costumes, DAMAGED & CO. always sets the bar higher to deliver a fun filled performance, engaging the crowd's interaction.

Hailing from the small island of Malta, Alternative Metal band DAMAGED & CO. started off as a 2-man project in 2017 under a different name. After picking up momentum the project expanded to a full band, with a complete line-up, in 2018.

After releasing their first single “Here to Stay”, followed by their live debut, the band played a few local shows in 2018. DAMAGED & CO. had their first taste of performing outside their country in 2019 when they were invited to take part in Sbam Fest III Edizione at Torino, Italy.

2 new Singles, recorded in 2019 (“Kill o’Clock” & “Broken Fields”), were released in 2019 & 2020 respectively. In January 2020 the band signed with Hades Management.

After the pandemic, DAMAGED & CO. hit the stage again in October 2021, for a sold-out show at the annual “Halloween Massacre Event” at “The Garage”, following with appearances in 2022 at the “City Theatre” in Valletta, another show overseas, this time at the “Legend Club” in Milan as part of "Rock in Park 2022" and closing off the summer at the prestigious “Farsons Great Beer Festival” in August.

After releasing a self-titled EP (2022), the band finalized recording their debut album, “Life’s Grand Delusion” at SpineSplitter Studio and worked with renowned producer Matt Hyde (Slipknot, Trivium, As I Lay Dying, The Raven Age) on mixing and mastering. The album was released on Feb 11th, 2023.
