DBS Productions was formed by Damir Šujak and his wife Bernice Šujak. They organized the first singers festival in March 2015. The aim of Shine Singers Festival is to provide a platform where singers of any age can sing and perform in front of professional judges. Age sections are year by year.
Transparency and fairness are DBS Productions main purpose, thus, whilst counting of votes, two parents are always present. These parents join the counting officer voluntarily and are changed after each section. After the results are announced on stage, the voting sheets are passed to each participant with the judge's votes and comments.
Sections are kept to a minimum amount of songs and each and every singer will receive a trophy. There is also Best Voice Award to the singer who obtains the most marks in voice in each Age section. 2 overalls are also awarded, each by every set of judges.
Judges are always chosen carefully, making sure that they are professional in the music sector.
Our sound engineer is Kirsten of Audioworks and all sound equipment is provided by him. We also offer sound check to all participants.
