Cynthia Zaffarese was born on the 15 of March 1993. She is a Singer.
From a very young age she discovered her voice capabilities and her passion for singing. At the age of 7 she started attending The School of Arts, a performing arts school conducted by Ray Mangion. Due to unforeseen circumstances the school closed 2 years later. In 2004 Cynthia was part of the Malta Choir, in which she spent a year.
After the performing arts school and choir, Cynthia stopped attending any singing classes, though she still kept practicing her voice on her own. A few years later, that is in 2009, Cynthia started attending a new school, The Voice Academy Malta, conducted by Ivan De Gabriele.
She is still attending this school up till this very day. Cynthia gained a lot of experience throughout these 9 years. She started by participating in various local Festivals, gaining experience and stage confidence. Basically, she spent 3 years competing in these festivals. Cynthia also took part in Arażżi Leqqiena in 2012 conducted by Joseph Galea, as part of the Choir. 3 years later, in 2015 she was one of the 6 Main singers in L-istrina, an experience she will cherish for as a long as she lives with the live band of Mro.Joe Brown. In 2016 she go the song Pittura lyrics by Rita Pace and composition by Marco Debono made it on Konkors Kanzunetta Indipendenza - Talent Żagħżugħ 2016.
In 2017, was quite an exciting one for Cynthia, in which she took part in Jesus Christ Superstar as part of the Choir, conducted by Maestro Joe Brown and also had the privilege of taking part in the great musical, Phantom of the Opera Malta, as the Nurse and as part of the Ensemble. As can be clearly seen, Cynthia is passionate not only about singing but she also loves Drama. Currently, she is attending a Drama course with Freespirit Acting.
She is also kicking off her singing career with singing in Wedding masses. This year she is participating in the Konkors Kanzunetta Indipendenza 2018 (KKI Talent Ġdid) with the song Mari lyrics by Rita Pace and composition by Marco Debono, and also trying out for the X Factor Malta. Let’s hope for the best!
