His recent role Debut as "Nemorino" in PopUp Opera’s new production of L’Elisir D’Amore brought him rave reviews. The Internationally acclaimed Opera Magazine said ‘His full- toned, ardent singing gave justice to Donizetti’s Music... He shows exceptional promise’.

Cliff has taken part in many workshops and master classes with highly praised musicians including; Delfo Menicucci, Juliette Bisazza, Janis Kelly and Sally Burgess. Credits For Opera Include; Donizetti’s ‘L’Elisir D’Amore’ (Nemorino), Verdi’s ‘Il Trovatore’ (Ruiz), Bellini’s ‘Norma (Flavio), Mozart’s ‘The Magic Flute’ (Monostatos), Humperdinck’s ‘Hansel and Gretel’ (Witch) and Britten’s ‘The Little Sweep’ (Clem). Cliff was part of Britten’s War Requiem at the RCM, Mozart’s ‘Ascanio in Alba’ at King’s Place and Mozart’s ‘Requiem’ (Tenor Solo).

Cliff’s recent achievements include representing the RCM at the prestigious Junior Ferrier awards and successfully making it to the final rounds to high critical acclaim – “He has the commitment, drive and charisma to be a performer and the quality and appeal of voice to complete the essential qualities to fulfill his potential.” He also performed at the Royal Albert hall in London and had the honour of performing in a master class for Robert Sutherland (Maria Callas’ ex- accompanist).

Cliff is now looking forward to performing Mro.Vella’s Tenor Solo in Symphony No 3 (The Apocalypse Verses) in November at St.Johns Co-Cathedral and for his role in the opera ‘Pagliacci’ at Teatru Manoel in March 2013.
