Clean-up Needed

The text currently on this page needs further work. It was most likely imported or reproduced from a website associated with the subject of the page - possibly through a process involving far-from-perfect machine translation, often with awkward results. It is awaiting the attention of an experienced M3P editor, which could be you. It may be slightly out of date, or may need other elements taken care of appropriately, including proofreading or copy-editing for grammar and style.

Claire Marante

Claire Marante born at Paola on 23 May, 1984. She is a singer.

Claire discovered her love for the world of music at a young age, starting her education in classical guitar and music theory at the age of seven.

Her first love, however, was always singing. Over the years she trained her voice with various teachers, including soprano Gillian Zammit in Malta, vocal coach Lorna Brooks in Scotland, and Welsh singer Julie Thomas.

She sang with several bands and artists in Malta and in Scotland, exploring different genres such as alternative, jazz, pop, soul and blues.

More recently, her need to find and express her own artistic voice pushed her to focus on song writing and on developing her own musical style.

She is currently collaborating with Tact, the project of guitarist and composer Franco Tartaglia, and her public debut as a songwriter is with the single 'Euterpe' released on 1 January, 2017.
