Clean-up Needed

The text currently on this page needs further work. It was most likely imported or reproduced from a website associated with the subject of the page - possibly through a process involving far-from-perfect machine translation, often with awkward results. It is awaiting the attention of an experienced M3P editor, which could be you. It may be slightly out of date, or may need other elements taken care of appropriately, including proofreading or copy-editing for grammar and style.

Chris Abela

Chris Abela born on 10 May 1992 from Mellieħa. He is a musician.

He began playing when he was 13 years old, starting off with classic guitar lessons by Juan Correa which soon developed into Jazz guitar lessons.

At the age of 16, he moved away from the acoustic guitar and onto the electric bass guitar. At 17, Chris together with a few school friends kickstarted a 6-man band called Freewill. The band was heavily focused on progressive rock, influenced greatly by bands such as Rush and Porcupine Tree.

In 2013, Chris joined JAMM Band as their bassist and is still their current bassist to this day. Chris played in numerous events with JAMM including Milied Mellieħi, Iljieli Melleħin and other small events amongst others. Chris enjoys a good classic or progressive rock song, but also enjoys listening to Orchestral music and Metal music amongst others. His favorite bands are Rush, Deep Purple, Pink Floyd, Dream Theatre and Porcupine Tree amongst many more.
