Charlene Rae Muscat

Charlene Rae Muscat was born in Manhattan, New York on 16 September 1994 and resides in Għajnsielem, Gozo. She is a Singer.

She began her musical journey at the tender age of seven and since then, has participated in various local activities and festivals, such as the Golden Cross Festival held at Xlendi and the Junior Euro Song of 2009.

In recent years, Charlene has sung with bands and taken part in acoustic sessions as well as attended vocal seminars abroad to strengthen her knowledge about one of the things she is most passionate about; singing - and hopes to do so even more in the near future.

Today, she is part of the musical family at Vocal Booth Studios, is mentored by Glen Vella, forms part of the Vocal Troupes group and will be participating in this year’s edition of L-Għanja tal-Poplu 2017 with the song ‘Dwejra B’Tieqa Fiha’’, lyrics by Ġiovann Attard and composed by Mark Spiteri Lucas.

On Thursday 26 August, 2021, made it to the final of Konkors Kanzunetta Indipendenza 2021 Charlene Rae Muscat performed the song Dinja Li Ma Nafx lyrics by Emil Calleja Bayliss and music by Mark Spiteri Lucas. On the final night held on 18 September, 2021, at she performed the song song Dinja Li Ma Nafx lyrics by Emil Calleja Bayliss and music by Mark Spiteri Lucas.

On 16th May, 2023 Charlene Rae Muscat made it to the Final Night of the 47th. Edition of the L-Għanja tal-Poplu 2023 with the song Mhix Imħabba lyricist by Emil Calleja Bayliss and composed by Mark Spiteri Lucas. The Final Night will be held on Saturday 5th. August, 2023. At the at the Pjazza Teatru Rjal in Valletta.
