Brimba (also stylized as BRiMBA) was a trio of musicians who explored various genre pools between 2020 and 2021.

Approaching the improvisatory nature of jazz with a more modern tonal palette BRiMBA delivered a mix of aggressive odd-time riffs with fluid rhythmic interplay and captivating vocal lines.

They were Kyle Drakard (electric guitar), Dean Montanaro (electric bass) and [[Pete Galea] (drums).

Their work is captured in a series of 3 live-sessions, recorded in September 2020 and published through Soundcloud. They were later joined by vocalist Egle Pranaityte for a Backdoor Jam (number 12) in Gozo, lasting two and a half hours.

They announced they were splitting in April 2021 on their Facebook page.
