Clean-up Needed

The text currently on this page needs further work. It was most likely imported or reproduced from a website associated with the subject of the page - possibly through a process involving far-from-perfect machine translation, often with awkward results. It is awaiting the attention of an experienced M3P editor, which could be you. It may be slightly out of date, or may need other elements taken care of appropriately, including proofreading or copy-editing for grammar and style.

Bernard Bonnici

Bernard Bonnici Born on 23 August, 1981. He comes from Żejtun. He is a guitarist.

Not with standing Bernard’s keen interest in music from a tender age, he only started playing guitars at around the age of 15 but has not looked back since then. Bernard’s guitar studies have recently been taken to another level, up to Grade 8, where the guitarist proudly achieved a distinction classification in both theory and lead guitars. His next ambitious target is a Diploma in practical guitar.

Meanwhile Bernard founded his first band, With No Lead. The band played in various bars and pubs, including the iconic BJs where With No Lead were a resident band. He also joined the established band, Airport Impressions, on stage a number of times. Despite knowing Ivan for a number of years, it was only in 2015 that they decided to found the acoustic set-up known today as Bernie & Pod.

His passion for travel gave him the opportunity to play overseas, mainly in various bars and beer gardens in Bavaria, Germany. Bernard enjoys listening to various music genres and has a good ear for good lyrics, but his heart lies in soft / acoustic rock. Indeed his favourite bands are Counting Crows, Athlete, Matchbox 20, Snow Patrol and Stereophonics.
