The Bay Music Awards 2011 is the eighth edition of the Bay Music Awards. The winners will be named at the awards event, presented by 89.7 Bay hosts Nathan D and Ben Glover, at the Bay Arena, St Julian’s, on Monday 12 December 2011.

The tagline for this edition is 'Are you ready to scream?', tied to a search for "Malta’s biggest screamer". Fans are asked to send in their screaming pic to studio@bay.com.mt and the winner along with three friends win backstage VIP passes to the BMAs 2011. The winner is determined through the BMA’s facebook fan page, depending on the most likes a picture gets. However, rather than direct uploads to Facebook, the organizers request emailed photos studio@bay.com.mt.

Tickets for the 2011 BMAs cost 10 euros and are sold from the Eden Cinemas Box Office, St Julians. A limited 100 front row ‘Screamer tickets’ are sold for 12 euros each.

This was announced during a press launch on Tuesday 25 October at the Intercontenental Hotel in St. George's Bay.
