Barumbara Collective is a performance art project which focuses on collaboration with other artists from all spheres, be it literature, theatre, dance, photography, music, painting, etc.

Barumbara performances are meant to be fluid and the form they take depends on the participants involved, the location of the event and the concept chosen for the project.

The first Barumbara project was a street performance held on the 16th and 17th of September as part of the annual Brocante (flea market) in Rue de Flandre. The Brocante itself, and what it signifies, are the main source of inspiration for this project.
