Curated exhibitions using different media will be held in various venues around the island and will show works by local and international artists as they each interpret Feminist issues.
Art+Feminism is an annual worldwide edit-a-thon to add content to Wikipedia about women artists. Now in its third year in Malta, this edition features a series of curated exhibitions across three sites presenting new works by both established and emerging artists.  


Alongside the exhibition, further activities will include a number of workshops as well as several Wiki edit-a-thons.

An exhibition titled Art+Feminism 2020 is planned to take place February - April 2020 at Spazju Kreattiv, St James Cavalier Centre for Creativity, Valletta, Malta.

Exhibition Description

Art+Feminism is an annual worldwide edit-a-thon to add content to Wikipedia about women artists. Now in its third year in Malta, this edition features a series of curated exhibitions across three sites presenting new works by both established and emerging artists.

Alongside the exhibitions, activities will include a number of Wikipedia editing workshops and edit-a-thons. These activities will further address the gender gap on Wikipedia whilst highlighting the work of women artists and their contribution to the art scene in Malta.
